About Mark Goodman

Mark-7

‘In a conflict, being willing to change allows you to move from a point of view to a viewing point – A higher more expansive place from which you see both sides.’

WHEN CONFLICT ARISES…

Mediation involves people meeting with a desire to end conflict in all manner of disputes that arise in their work and personal life.

ESSENTIAL TO SUCCESSFUL MEDIATION…

In order for mediation to be successful, the parties must trust that the mediator is neutral and able to bring clarity to different perspectives while understanding that the process is as important and essential as reaching success in resolving  conflict.

LEGAL KNOW-HOW, HUMAN UNDERSTANDING AND EMPATHY…

Prior to  becoming a solo attorney, Mark served as Deputy County Counsel in Alameda County and was a partner in the law firm of McNamara, Ney, Beatty, Slattery, Borges & Ambacher LLP, and  managing partner and senior trial attorney for the Law Offices of Haskell and Goodman LLP.

When mediating disputes, Mark draws upon 30 years of legal experience to help people avoid the cost and emotional pain of litigation. His ability to successfully resolve disputes stems from his understanding the importance of listening  with care and consideration.  He is also adept at assisting with formulating constructive and creative pathways to resolution while maintaining civility and collaboration between the parties and legal counsel.
